I teach an holistic method of Pilates whereby incorporating relaxation techniques ensure the correct muscle recruitment. This has proved to be extremely successful for students who are beginners, post-operative or wanting to take their Pilates to the next level.

I have been teaching Pilates for over 13 years after being taught the Pilates Institute Method. I offer private sessions in my Garden Room studio, sessions lasting 75mins. Private sessions are ideal for those wanting to start Pilates and would like to learn the technique. Sometimes only 2 or 3 sessions are required before pupils can join in with a larger group. I also recommend private sessions for people wanting to join a class but possibly have physical problems that have made them wary of making a commitment to a course. The moves can be modified to suit the individual and thereby giving them the confidence to take their Pilates further. These private sessions have proved very successful post operative, hip replacements for example. More experienced pupils are more then welcome to come along for a session where they can use gym balls, large and small, and generally have an energetic and balanced workout.
