Pilates is the ideal form of exercise for pregnant woman as, not only is it an extremely safe form of exercise, it also targets the pelvic floor muscles and breathing techniques, preparing you for child birth and beyond. Classes are held in small groups of maximum 4 women, preferably in the same trimester, in order for me to keep a close eye on all participants and for the exercises to be amended at a similar pace as the pregnancy develops. Pregnancy Pilates concentrates on correcting the postural changes that take place during pregnancy, strengthening the back and the arms and always includes kegal exercises, balance adjustment and breathing.... a perfect way to "centre" yourself during pregancy. These classes are available throughout the week at your time and convenience.

Hi, I became a Pilates Instructor after practicing Pilates for several years and realising that it was the one form of exercise that I never tired of. Each class kept my interest due to the concentration needed and the constant learning about the body and my own strengths and limitations. I saw incredible results in strength and flexibility and particularly tone and posture. I strive to achieve the same passion and results in my clients, concentrating on correcting bad postural habits and achieving an overall sense of well-being in both body and mind.
