My name is Jenny Glover and I run the 'Pilates Centre and Sports Therapy Clinic' in Weymouth and also 'Mercury Dance Academy'. I first discovered pilates through my training as a ballerina at 'The Legate School of Russian Ballet',and was subsequently awarded a scholarship to study and teach 'Body Control Pilates' at Pilates International Ltd in London..
I am a professionally trained level 3 instructor with over 30 years teaching experience in pilates mat classes and professional pilates equipment. I am a member of the Body Control Pilates Association (B.C.P.A) and adhere to their code of practice which governs teaching standards, class sizes, professional ethics and continuing education. I am currently training as an osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy.
I am also a qualified swedish massage therapist and sports massage therapist and am certified to practice pregnancy massage. Having experience of working in hospitals for 11 years and with chiropractors for 15 years, GP's, chiropractors and other health professional recognise my skills and refer clients to me. I specialise in treating back injuries.
I have worked with local sailors, windsurfers, Olympic and Paralympic champions as well as local sports men and women of all ages and abilities, to include 2012 sailing Gold medallist Lijia Xu, Paralympian Steve Thomas and world champion windsurfer Lucy Horwood.
