Cairngorm Pilates. Pilates classes, 1-1 and small group sessions.

Cairngorm Pilates offers local classes, 1-1 and small focus group sessions. 1-1 sessions can be great for those working to improve specific issues, those with mobility problems or for those who would simply enjoy focused sessions specifically designed for them in the comfort of their own home. The small group sessions are aimed at groups of people with similar aims, such as a cycle or running club.

Lucy has worked for over ten years as a dancer and qualified to teach mat-work pilates in 2011 after a year long course with The Pilates Foundation. Lucy is currently enrolled in a 14-month course to become a Pilates Apparatus instructor with the view to setting up a specialist Pilates studio local to the Cairngorms National Park, watch this space!

Anyone, regardless of age, gender or physical fitness can practice Pilates, as the exercises can be modified to suit individual needs and requirements. Pilates can a fantastic support regime for activities such as cycling, running and golf, and can help those recovering from injury, illness or suffering from lower back pain and joint wear and tear and much more.
