One-to-one Pilates

Improve your core and posture! Pilates is a gentle yet effective way of strengthening the body, working on core engagement, flexibility, shoulder, pelvic and hip mobility and stability. The principles of Pilates are incorporated into controlled movements that can be modified and progressed making exercises appropriate for all levels. Emphasis on breathing technique, balance, alignment and coordination makes Pilates an enjoyable and relaxing way to work the body. Focusing on the core muscles that support the lower back can improve posture and help with back pain.

Graceful Being - Pilates Instructor

Jules has been practicing Pilates for 8 years. She suffered from a slipped disc and sciatica which led to emergency surgery on her lumbar spine in 2010. She worked with her Pilates’ guru to thankfully become mobile again regaining strength and being named ‘Best Improver’ in the class one year after her surgery. Her love of Pilates and its transformation of her body led her to become an instructor so that she can help others to become stronger, fitter, ease back pain and enjoy this wonderful method.
