I was first introduced to Pilates at a very young age yet I never really took it seriously as my main focus at the time was dancing. Having the knowledge that I have now I wish I had taken it more seriously - isn’t hindsight a wonderful thing! I have a strong dancing background but never looked after my body when training and was injured frequently. After graduating from Laine Theatre Arts in 2011 I travelled the world doing what I loved most, dancing. Then, having returned to London, I wanted to rekindle the relationship I had with Pilates again. This time I fell in love and believe it to be an incredible technique that has wonderful benefits for everyone. After practicing Pilates seriously for around two years I knew this was something I wanted to share as I have felt and seen the effects myself.
I can honestly say that Body Control Pilates has changed my life. I’ve been amazed at how it can tone the body, increase strength and flexibility, as well as improve co-ordination and correct posture. You won't come out feeling like you have run a marathon but you will feel less stressed and ready to deal with lifes requests.
I aim to bring a current and enthusiastic approach to my classes, achieving new goals for all ages and abilities.
