Jo played netball and rugby as a teenager and moved onto practicing yoga when she was pregnant.
After a quick second labour, problems occurred and unfortunately Jo required surgery. After being referred from physiotherapy Jo found that Pilates helped rehabilitate her body as well as her pelvic floor and she has now been practising Pilates for 14 years!
Having enjoyed learning about her own body and how it can move Jo recently left teaching in schools and took the leap into training as a Body Control Pilates teacher.
Jo taught in Primary Schools for 23 years but her passion now lies with teaching adults and sharing the benefits of Pilates with clients, friends and anyone who will listen.
Not one for sweating during a workout, Jo found Pilates to be the perfect solution. She has gained strength, flexibility and co-ordination whilst finding the restorative nature of focused breathwork helps to calm a busy mind after a hectic day.
Jo spends her leisure time singing, sewing and helping in the community at St Georges’ Church, Deal.
