Soula comes from a dance background. Having trained in many different styles of dance from a young age, she went on to enjoy a 15 year career as a professional dancer, performing in countless productions in exciting venues across the world.
Soula was forced to retire from dancing due to a knee injury that progressively worsened over the last five years of her career. It wasn't until she stopped dancing that she discovered Pilates, and after realising its potential to repair and rebalance the body, she believes it would have been the perfect complimentary practice for maintaining musculo-skeletal health whilst working as a dancer.
Impressed by the many benefits of Pilates, and with a desire to introduce them to others, Soula was inspired to study the method further and become a qualified instructor.
Soula has been teaching Pilates for a number of years now, and believes that its holistic approach to the health and fitness of body and mind is of considerable benefit to people of all walks of life.
