My career background has been in the commercial world of HR management and I discovered Pilates in 2009. After sustaining a spine disc bulge caused by inappropriate gym exercise, exacerbated by a desk bound occupation and poor posture, I was encouraged by medical professionals to rehabilitate through Pilates. This advice was life changing. Not only has Pilates improved my back but continues to positively influence my mind and body wellbeing.
My experience of Pilates inspired me to train as a Pilates teacher. I trained with the world renowned Body Control Pilates in London. As a member of the Body Control Association, I adhere to a code of practice governing teaching standards, professional ethics and continued education.
It is widely recognised that Pilates provides holistic benefits. My aim is to get my clients moving and feeling better both in and out of class.
