Physiotherapist led Pilates

I am a qualified Physiotherapist with 12 years' experience. I specialise in Occupational Health Physiotherapy and Ergonomics as well as working in private practice, treating sports injuries and other muscle and joint injuries. I am an APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) Fully Certified Pilates Instructor - this means I have completed Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the certification series and have passed the practical and theoretical exams so you can be confident that I have the advanced knowledge and experience to guide you through your Pilates training.

I use Pilates exercises with my physiotherapy treatment nearly every day as they are excellent at re-training target areas that help improve overall posture with the added benefit of enhancing self-body awareness and confidence.

Doing a Pilates class with a trained Physiotherapist is a fantastic way to help people who are new to exercising or who are worried about exercising with an existing condition or injury - I keep my class sizes really small (a maximum of 12) so there is lots of hands-on feedback ensuring everyone's technique is perfect and that no-one exercises at a level that may risk injury.
