Focussing on core stability, mobilisation of the spine and co-ordination, his teaching aims to heighten body awareness and well being.
Whilst firmly adhering to the Pilates repetoire, the class has an emphasis on breath and flow, and draws on influences from Adam’s practice of yoga.
His classes have an inclusive feel and foster a good communal spirit. He teaches with precision and a playful gentle humour.

I am a Pilates and yoga teacher with an extensive background in movement and dance.
I graduated from The LABAN Centre, London in 1997 and went on to perform nationally and internationally as a contemporary dancer for more than 12 years. I danced with many leading companies, including The National Youth Dance Company, The Cholmonodeleys & The Featherstonehaughs and Protein Dance.
I am one of the few teachers to have completed Pilates matwork teacher training courses with both the Pilates Foundation (2004) and Body Control Pilates (2012) and I qualified as an accredited British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance teacher with YogaCampus in 2010. More recently, I qualified as a Yoga Nidra (Yoga Sleep) teacher with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Nirlipta Tuli at Sitaram Yoga. I am currently studying for an MA in Yoga and Meditation Traditions at SOAS University of London.
I sat on the Board of Directors of the Pilates Foundation (2010-12) and fundamentally believe in the organisation’s commitment to providing the highest standards of teacher training and continuous professional development.
I have been lucky enough to teach Pilates and Yoga, both in this country and overseas, for numerous gyms, studios, dance companies and within the super-yacht industry.
I enjoy teaching at all levels of ability and have worked with many different groups of clients, including the elderly, those in physical rehabilitation, professional dancers, athletes, models, Oscar winning actors and celebrities.
Most of all I love teaching in my local community in South East London. It was a great honour that this work led to me being nominated as a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts, to which I was elected in 2010.
