Each lesson will start with 5-10 minute warm up, followed by 40 minutes of main core focussed exercises, and finish with 5-10 minutes closing exercises. Different exercises will be used each week, although there are some we will always do to get the blood and oxygen moving in our bodies. Each exercise will be offered with progressions, adaptations or regressions, and modifications to enable each participant to exercise at their appropriate level.

Hello, my name is Marianne. I qualified as Pilates Instructor with Future Fit Training, VTCT, in July 2021. I offer hour long, group, mat based Pilates classes in the area of Burgfield Common and Mortimer, Berkshire. I have a small private studio at home where I offer 1:2:1 and 1:2:2 lessons. I love that Pilates training is for all ages and both men and women, stretching and strengthening both the mind and the body. It increases mobility and flexibility of our bodies, enhances our posture, helps to overcome injuries and conditions that we may have, and makes us better able to move well in our day to day lives.
