classes run per school term timing 6-8 weeks block. £9 per session and £15 drop in rate as per availability. Though I dont encourage drop ins as regularity is the key to reaping the benefits of pilates.

Hi, I am Shivani and I have been practising Pilates since 2012 after being recommended to try it by the physiotherapist. Having worked in the city previously for 12 years, I understand the toll office life takes on the body. After leaving my job I began practising yoga at home. However, in my quest to get fitter, I ended up with back related problems since the technique was not correct.
A visit to the physiotherapist enlightened me about my weak core and the need to build up on my own strength. From there began my Pilates journey. I was soon hooked, as the results were tangible. I particularly noticed the transformation in my body since increasing the number of Pilates classes I attended every week. It has been beneficial not only for my posture, core strength and muscle tone, but also my overall mental and physical wellbeing.
However, my understanding of Pilates was really turned on its head when I started teacher training with Body Control. Body Control had a greater focus on precision of technique and safe teaching methods than any other classes I had attended over the years. The training I experienced on Body Control’s highly renowned Matwork Certification Course and the ongoing courses I attend is second to none. This convinced me that becoming a Pilates teacher was the right career path for me. It is something I am passionate about as a profession and a discipline to enhance physical and mental wellbeing.
