Pilates is great for every one, it works by building strength from the inside out targeting the deep postural muscles to rebalance the body bringing it into correct alignment.
It’s great for women pre and postnatally and is particularly recommended by medical specialists for those suffering from back problems but suited quite literally to any body.
It helps tone, reshape and lengthen the body offering the perfect balance between strength and flexibility. It’s a great way to improve posture and relieve stress and tension so come and give it a go.

When I moved to London at 17 to pursue my dance training at Central school of Ballet, pilates was a daily class for 3 years before our rigorous day began.
I didn’t quite realise back then how important that daily class was going to be for my future dance career and keeping me strong and healthy. It’s only in the last few years or so as I’ve matured that I’ve realised how beneficial it actually has been for preventing any extreme injuries, and helping me recover from the small ones that I obtained.
I’ve had a career as a professional dancer for the last 10 years now and still going strong. I feel I’m am extremely aware of my body and how it works best and without pilates it would’ve made it a much harder experience so I am looking forward to transferring my knowledge on to others in a bid to help them as well.
