Beginners Pilates is a low impact exercise suitable all ages. Pilates helps to strengthen, stabilise your core thus improving posture, balance and flexibility and reducing back pain.

The class begins with warm ups, moving on to strengthening and stabilising exercises both standing, seated and lying. Each class will include the following Pilates principles:
Breathing, Centring, Concentration, Control, Flow, Precision

Pilates or Yoga - what is the difference? Pilates and yoga both help improve strength, balance, flexibility, posture and incorporate good breathing techniques. Yoga places more emphasis on relaxation.

Our Hatha Yoga classes will help improve your balance, flexibility, and reduce stress levels. 🙏

Sandhya (pronounced Sandeeya) grew up in Bath and moved to keynsham in 2011. She has practiced Hatha yoga since the age of 18. The yoga classes help ease stiffness in her lower back and release tension in her shoulders caused by an injury and subsequently 2 car accidents.
Sandhya began studying the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali in 2011 years ago with Nalanie Chellaram and is co-ordinator for Integral Yoga Bristol . Sandhya has been part of This Girl Can - bringing yoga to schools and Universities, offers Yoga and Laughter Hen parties. Sandhya ran her own business in holistic therapies for 4 years and facilitates Satsangs and yoga classes, workshops and events in Keynsham, Bristol, Stockwood Bath.

Yoga Asanas and Pranayama Integral Hatha Teacher Training Certificate with Rev Padma Priya (200 hours) Accredited by Yoga Alliance USA; and registered in the UK through the Independent Yoga Network.
