Hello, my name is Charlotte Chapman. I am a fully qualified and Chartered Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) - First Class Honours. I have trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute in Matwork Pilates and Pregnancy and Postnatal Exercise; and also with the London School of Sports Massage in Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy (Level 5 Diploma). I have trained and worked in private and NHS teaching hospitals in London, and now specialise in Physiotherapy rehabilitation and injury prevention in the community / private sector.
Being a Physiotherapist means I have the in-depth knowledge and skills necessary to tailor classes to each individuals' needs; whether its preventing injuries and illnesses, rehabilitation following an injury/operation, pre/post pregnancy, or if you want to exercise to get fit in a safe environment.
I started my career as a dancer, which is where my passion and knowledge for Pilates began. After training professionally at Elmhurst Ballet School and Laine Theatre Arts I went on to work abroad for 2 years, gaining experience in both performing and teaching. Once I returned home I dived into my Physiotherapy Degree, passing with First Class Honours.
I love teaching Pilates, and this creates a positive and relaxing atmosphere for my classes. I am currently teaching Pilates in both Werrington and Deeping St James in Peterborough.
I also work as a Physiotherapist at the Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough.
