A Beginner Plus level Pilates Mat and Small Equipment Class, ideal for those who have already been attending a regular beginner class or those with a good level of fitness and movement.
Pilates works on strengthening the core muscles, posture, alightnment, coordination, and releasing muscle tension. Pilates is dynamic combined with relaxing focused movements, a perfect tonic to a busy lifestyle.

If you have previously had an injury that has required treatment from a medical practitioner or have been advised to start Pilates by a doctor, Physiotherapist or other medical practitioner it is essential that before starting a group class you attend a private lesson to have a movement assessment. I first discovered Pilates whilst at University years ago and thought how wonderful and varied the classes were. I have always led an active lifestyle but found that Pilates really targeted specific areas and dramatically improved my posture.
After a year of intensive training I am now a Body Control Pilates Teacher qualified with a level 3 on the Register of Exercise Professionals. I have attended and am qualified to teach small equipment classes, intermediate level and Pilates for Bone health. I have been teaching for 5 years and continue my learning with Pilates for Pregnancy and Level 4 Pilates.
